Features of Portable Superficial Rockwell Hardness Tester

1. This superficial Rockwell hardness tester is a kind of low-load portable hardness tester. 
2. The small portable superficial Rockwell hardness tester works on the same testing principle with high accuracy as the bench type tester, in compliance with the ISO6508.2 and ASTM E110 standards. 
3. Consisting of the tester and bench stand, the portable superficial Rockwell hardness tester can either be used on the desk or on the shop floor. 
4. With more economical costs and easier operation, the small portable superficial Rockwell hardness tester can be used to replace the Vickers hardness tester. 
5. It is used to test the hardness of metal sheet or the superficial layer of metal, by means of low test force. 
6. With slight indentation, the superficial Rockwell hardness tester accomplishes non-destructive inspection, producing no undesirable effect on most workpieces. 
7. It is applicable to thin and small parts, such as thin plate, slim tubes and axles, small stamping parts and parts with small supporting surface, etc. 
8. The small portable superficial Rockwell hardness tester is also adopted for hardness testing of thin carburized layer or nitrided case. 
9. The hardness tester is installed with traceable standard hardness block, and qualified indenter. 
10. The load gauge for test force calibration can directly be traced to the national secondary standards.

Webster Hardness tester is a kind of hardness testing machine which is specialized in testing the hardness of the aluminum alloy on site rapidly. It pressed a certain shape of hard steel pressure needle into the surface of the sample. The webster hardness of the material can be read directly according to indentation depth and the hardness values can be converted into other types of hardness values which includes Vickers, Rockwell and Brinell.
